A postcard belonging to the living chess collection, issued on the occasion of the 5th All-Sokol Slet (gathering) held in June and July 1907 in Prague. The living chess game represented a battle between the Hussite forces and the army of Emperor Sigismund in January 1422. The postcard shows the leader of the Hussite army, Jan Zizka. Issued by Ceska Obec Sokolska in Prague around 1907. Size 14,1 x 9 cm.
The postcard is postally unused, though the back has a partially pencil-written address and this text in old Czech: “Hněváš se?” (“Are you angry?”)
Condition - Good Minus: Creases in the upper part.
