Description

Ceskoslovensky sach 1930. Oficialni organ Ustredni jednoty ceskoslovenskych sachistu. Praha. Monthly. In Czech. Editors: F. Dedrle, O. Duras, M. Havel, L. Knotek, J. Louma, V. Mrazik, A. Pokorny, R. Prochazka, J. Rejfir. Title page, index, 200 pages. Issues 1-12 (6/7 and 8/9 are double issues). Volume 24 (4). Covers not bound. LN 5985. Soukup 6. Mokry 239. Di Felice 471.

In 1927, the magazine changed its name, and the volume numbering restarted at 1. However, it was a continuation of Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu, so it is in fact the 24th annual volume. The volume numbering was finally standardized only in 1946.

Ceskoslovensky sach is the main Czech chess magazine published continuously since 1906. The title changed over time mainly for political reasons: Casopis ceskych sachistu (1906–1919), Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu (1920–1926), Ceskoslovensky sach (1927–1938 and 1946–present), and Sach (1939–1945).

Condition - Good to Very Good: Private half-cloth binding with a label on the front cover. Occasional slight soiling. Paper slightly yellowed.
