The magazine states volume 6, but it was in fact a continuation of Ceskoslovensky sach, making it the 38th annual volume. The volume numbering was finally standardized only in 1946.
Ceskoslovensky sach is the main Czech chess magazine published continuously since 1906. The title changed over time mainly for political reasons: Casopis ceskych sachistu (1906–1919), Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu (1920–1926), Ceskoslovensky sach (1927–1938 and 1946–present), and Sach (1939–1945).
Condition - Fair to Good: Elegant half-cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Occasional markings and notes. Several stains (mainly on pages 1, 2, 97-104 and 137-140) – see photo. Title page and last page repaired with tape. Paper browned.
