Although the title page states that volume 4 was published in 1909/1910, the covers indicate that it was actually published only in 1910, from January to December.
Casopis ceskych sachistu (The Magazine of Czech Chess Players) was founded in 1906 and remains the main Czech chess journal. Throughout its history, its title changed mainly for political reasons: Casopis ceskych sachistu (1906–1919), Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu (1920–1926), Ceskoslovensky sach (1927–1938; 1946–present), and Sach (1939–1945).
